Start your journey in the charming town of Rakovník, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and the iconic Rabas Gallery. The trail leads you through a mix of open fields and shaded forest paths, offering gentle elevation changes suitable for all fitness levels. As you approach Maxova obora, a historic game preserve established in the 19th century, you'll be surrounded by mature oak and beech trees, home to fallow deer and wild boar. The preserve features a small pond and a hunting lodge, perfect for a picnic stop. The return route follows a similar path, allowing you to enjoy the serene landscape from a different perspective.
